The World Health Organization released a new study in the "Lancet" magazine on the 26th, saying that there is strong evidence that HPV vaccine can prevent cervical cancer and should be extended to boys and adults. Scientists analyzed data from more than 60 million people in 14 countries over the past eight years and found that HPV infection rates dropped significantly after the introduction of vaccines. Two cases of HPV 16 and 18, which caused 70% of cervical cancer, fell 83% among girls aged 13 to 19 and 66% among women aged 20 to 24.
