Germany's election is over. Mrs Merkel's coalition is in first place with 33% of the vote. Mr Schulz's social Democratic Party won just 20.5%. The far-right radical afd party entered parliament with 12.6 percent of the vote. Support for the FDP, greens and left party was 10.7 percent, 9.2 percent and 8.9 percent, respectively. The FDP and the afd were the biggest winners in the German election, der spiegel said in a commentary on its website on September 25.
